Top [1] Defense Contract from Sept. 17

I searched through 85 Pentagon contracts for the 5 that matter -- so you don't have to.

Today’s top Contract

In a break from usual procedure, today I’m highlighting just one single defense contract award, a massive $11.9 billion indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract under the J6 Enterprise Technology Services 2.0 program for the Defense Logistics Agency.

259 companies bid on the contract. 85 of them received awards.

Most of the companies winning work are federally defined “small businesses.” Among those that are not, and that in fact are substantially-sized publicly traded companies, we find:

Accenture Federal Services (NYSE: ACN)
Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH)
Leidos (NYSE: LDOS)
CACI International (NYSE: CACI)
General Dynamics (NYSE: GD)

All five of these companies — and the 80 others — will compete for funds under the umbrella contract. Winners will be awarded five-year base contracts running through Oct. 20, 2029, and may receive subsequent five-year option periods as well.
